René Zander completed his PhD in Mathematics, specializing in discrete integrable systems, at TU Berlin in 2021. He joined Fraunhofer FOKUS in 2023, where he has been focusing on quantum benchmarking, post-quantum cryptography, and quantum optimization. As part of his work at FOKUS, René contributes to the further development of Qrisp, a high-level programming framework. Qrisp enables developers to write efficient and scalable quantum algorithms. A key distinguishing characteristic of Qrisp is offering programmers the chance to step away from direct manipulation of quantum circuits during software development, and instead introducing abstractions to make such implementations simpler, more streamlined, and closer to approaches in classical programming, as demonstrated in https://arxiv.org/abs/2402.10060 .

Product/Service
A high-level, open-source, modular quantum programming framework called Eclipse Qrisp. This tool enables developers to write efficient and scalable quantum algorithms.
