Conference location
Segovia is renowned for its Romanesque art, beautiful architecture and historical convents. One of these, the Convent of Santa Cruz la Real, houses the IE University campus (CEN2010 location) just outside the city walls. Founded in 1218 and declared a national heritage site in 1931, the IE University campus covers over 18,000m2 and is made up lecture theaters, work rooms, laboratories, conference rooms, and radio and TV studios. The IE University campus also features the Reyes Catlicos Hall of Residence, giving students a modern university experience against this beautiful medieval backdrop. The convent church now serves as the Universitys main conference hall, a spectacular centerpiece lovingly restored to its former glory.
